For example, a vacuum loader with a larger tank size was developed, sufficient to withstand the large masses that cleaning wastewater treatment plants entails. Alisdair highlights one example where DISAB’s versatility stood out in the crowd – when a tank on an oil platform would be cleaned. 75 meters of suction hose was required to reach the platform and another 60 meters to reach the tank. Despite the distance, the suction power kept its capacity and the cleaning was smooth and easy.
